Farmhouse Table Makeover

Here is a fun little project I did a couple of weeks ago. I have had this old farm table for years. I never cared for the green legs or the lighter stained top so I finally gave it a make over.

I used Fusion Mineral Paint. The color is casement. I love this paint because it is a paint and finish all in one.  It has a beautiful matte finish and goes on so smoothly.  I used these 1st Place Chalk Brushes.  For the top, I just darkened it up a little bit with Restor A Finish in dark oak and applied it with a microfiber cloth.  It was a quick little project with a big impact.  It only took a couple of hours start to finish due to drying time.

I picked up the paint while shopping at Ellen J Goods.  If you happen to be out in Medina, NY Lynne’s shop is a place you simply must visit.  It is chock full of the best variety of home decor with unique vintage hand finished touches.

Be on the look out for some fabulous still images being shot on this beautifully rustic surface in the near future. Have you done any make-over projects? Would love for you to share your pics with us!  Pop them up on our Facebook Page here KJ DeWaal – Artist.
